Off to the Ozarks

davner, the Zodling, and I are going to Missouri to spend a couple weeks with his family. Dav will be spending at least the first half of the trip at deer camp with his dad and his dad's hunting buddies. I hope he survives. (Kidding, Steve! ^_^ Well, mostly...) The boy and I will be hanging out with my mil and sil and nephew Aidan. Along with two dogs, four cats, and whatever else Deb has named to prevent Steve shooting it... ^_- Should be fun. I haven't seen Aidan in about six months, and I bet he'll have changed as much in that time as Mark has.
We'll have their dialup access, but I won't be on as much as I am here. I'll be back to regular posting a little before Thanksgiving.
Called Tricare about the referral to the allergist. Allegedly, they do not do calls to the patient or patient's guardian, as Dr. B. told me; instead they send out letters within 7-10 business days. Which means it'll get here after we're on the road. >_< But referrals are good for 30 days, so I'll be able to make the appt. when we get back. Tricare also said he was being referred out of network, because in network allergists only do active duty, not dependants. Doesn't matter to me, as long as my son's treatment is not unduly delayed.
If the letter's not here when we get back, I'm siccing Dav on them. He has fewer moral qualms than I do about reducing CS reps to tears.
Laundering my cold weather clothes so I can pack. Zodling's clothes are already clean, but difficult to pack them when he's bing a barnacle. Earlier he seemed a bit warm, but it passed before I could worry enough to get the thermometer. If the clinging lasts past the next dryer load, I'm sticking him in the pen with a dvd so I can get things done. I don't mind typing with one hand. I do mind being prevented from accomplishing things that simply CANNOT be put off til tomorrow. ::kisses a blond sweaty head:: Silly boy.
