Yesterday's doctor visit
Mar. 22nd, 2012 01:45 pmNot a whole lot to report, as it was just the followup with my primary care doctor.
Got a fresh prescription for Prozac, 90 days worth this time, with a single refill for another ninety day supply. I don't have to go back in to touch base and get another prescription for six months. \o/
Got the direct number for my doctor's nurse, so tomorrow I can call and pass on the cardiologist's findings. Also asked to please bring them a copy of any hardcopy test results I receive, so they can save time instead of filing a formal records transfer request.
And, since my facial redness and overall acne was nearly identical to the last time I saw her, Dr. Dudley suspects rosacea in combination with my acne. She gave me a prescription for a non-sulfur-based topical treatment, and for antibiotics. I'm to try the cream by itself for a week, and if no change occurs, let them know, and use both the cream and the antibiotics. If THAT doesn't work, we may move on to consulting a dermatologist.
Followup with the cardiologist is this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Tom's coming home early for Zodling duty. In the meantime, I am plugging away at the Sisyphean mountain of laundry, and playing with Jack-jack, who has no school today. He's been particularly well-behaved and adorable today. :D
