Orientation went well

sethrakMark and Jack were well-behaved. Unfortunately I couldn't find Mark's birth cert. and social security card before we left the house. We'll find them and turn them in by the end of Wednesday, when it has to be in.
Ms. Villa had the form I need to have Dr. Flather sign for Mark's epi-pen. The group of parents exchanged a bunch of suggestions on good places to get the required uniform clothing. And I might have made a friend. ^_^
The mother sitting next to me, it turns out, lives in the same cul-de-sac of base housing we do. :D She has a little boy, in the morning class. He's not in the special ed. program, but there's no reason he and Mark can't hang out once in a while. She also has a little girl about a year old, who had the biggest and shiniest eyes. So adorable. ^_^ We exchanged addresses and names, and I think I'll wander over there with the boys later this week.
I still need to call the satellite pharmacy about Mark's zyrtec refill. And it turns out I will need to get Mark a physical, and send the form in, within 30 days of the enrollment paperwork being turned in. Otherwise we can lose our place at the school. ::mutter:: Between that veiled threat and the nonsense about preschool uniforms, I am less than enchanted with this school so far.
