Less thinky, more random update
May. 15th, 2010 09:39 amToday Davner is taking part in a local walk to raise fund for autism research. The original plan was for me to bring the Zodlings along and attend the resource fair being held at the same location.
Unfortunately, the weather took a turn for the gloomy dank and chilly worse yesterday, right along with Jack's long-running cold. His doctor thinks he's got the very early stages of viral bronchitis. Antibiotics are no use on viruses, and he's too young for oral decongestants. So she had her nurse zap him with allbuterol vapor, similar to what he was given back in December, and sent us home with a nebulizer and spacer for the weekend. We've got a followup on Monday.
After checking the forecast, which predicted more of the same plus fog and even more rain for today, we decided to keep the boys home. Dav left for the sign up line around 8 am.
To my wry amusement, the sun came out twenty minutes ago, and is cooking off most of the local fog. Can't say what it's like on Dav's side of town. Eh, Jack's still coughing and sounding congested, it's just as well we kept him home. Tomorrow's supposed to be much nicer and warmer. If the forecast holds true this time, we're going to get gardening supplies. :D
In the meantime, laundry, and baking cupcakes if Dav can get the right vegan margarine when he does the grocery shopping later.
