::comes up for air::
Aug. 3rd, 2009 09:47 amIt has been an insanely busy few weeks. Haven't had time to post, but I've been skimming the flist periodically to keep up with you all.
No promises of proper posting later, as I have a minor case of ick which requires cranberry juice, but for now, have a zodling photo post. ^_^ This is from Jack's birthday party. We tried giving the boys fruit ice, instead of cake, as I haven't had a chance to try any recipes from the vegan cupcake cookbook I bought. Mark ran away screaming every time we held out his spoon. -_- Jack, welll...

But, a little later, when we'd set him loose and were eating some fruit ice ourselves, Jack-jack came crawling over, staring very intently at our spoons. So we plopped him back in his high chair and tried again. He still made faces, but lunged for the spoon with his mouth every time. Some of his expressions made it obvious he was suffering the world's tiniest ice-cream headache. ^_^ But he persevered. It was adorable.
