"Gee, I want a Hula hoop...."

All is currently well in the Sethra-verse.

I straightened out the issues with my schedule at K-Mart. Turns out the HR manager (::mutters:: Baka...) hadn't entered into the computer the availability hours listed on my application. We arranged for the shifts conflicting with Gilles this week to be switched with my co-workers, and in future no such problems will arise.

Better still, the mild difficulties arising from my boss at Gilles wondering where I was Wed. night have been taken care of. He thought I meant I needed the Wed. _before_ Thanksgiving off, when I'd asked him a couple weeks ago. He's such a stereotypical blond sometimes. Once I explained it, though, he didn't mind at all, and laughed at himself thoroughly.

I'm a little tired today, because between KMart and Gilles I worked twelve hours yesterday. But I also got paid yesterday, and have the entire weekend off. So I'm happy. I plan to do some shopping, and much more decorating.

To end this post on a really high note.... my dad bought a DVD player earlier this week. My mom bought Lilo and Stitch on DVD yesterday. She got it on sale, for the same price they wanted for the VHS. We can't open it til Christmas, because it's Katie's present. But I don't care.
