Mar. 20th, 2007 02:04 pmOur little boy loves green beans. :D
We started him on them Sunday. It's amazing how eagerly he took to them. Gobbled them down, lunged for the spoon everytime I brought it close, and kept trying to grab the bowl. :D It was adorable. Did the same thing last night; heck, he emptied the little green bean jar in two meals. I'll have to buy him more later. We'll keep him on green beans for a week, to make sure they don't give him any bad side effects, then probably move on to carrots.
He's started snubbing his nose at the rice cereal, though. ^_^; Once we've run the gamut of Stage 1 baby food veggies, we're going to start adding a little baby applesauce to his morning cereal.
Unfortunately, he's had a fresh outbreak of thrush in his mouth. We're taking him to Dr. Becky at 2:45. With any luck, getting the medicine directly instead of through my milk will knock out the infection once and for all.
He's just so darn cuuuuutttteeee. Squee! :D
Less cute is the effect green beans have had on his diapers, though. ::wrinkles nose:: Turns his output green, for starters. And makes it much stinkier.
He's making amazing progress on moving around in his walker. We're going to have to get a gate for the stairs sooner than I thought. ^_^;
More later.
