2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo~!
Edit: Icons chosen for me by
nagaina_ryuuoh - Bouncing Panda, Evil in Walmart, Pants, Kiki Whistle. Anyone else's will be in a separate post.

This is an icon I found on a site devoted to the Tare Panda. I immediately fell in love with the sheer cuteness.
I generally use it when making posts about my son Mark. Once upon a time, in one of
davner's geekier moments, he created a character - I hesitate to call it a super hero - called Go Go Happy Panda. The shortest and easiest explanation can be found in a quote from one of his fics, where GGHP made a brief appearance:
“What are you watching?”
Skuld, sitting in front of the TV with the remote in her hand, looked up at Urd and gave her a noncommittal expression. “It’s called ‘Go Go Happy Panda.’ It’s this anime about a guy who turns into a Giant Tibetan Mountain Panda and eats crime.”
“Don’t you mean, ‘fights’ crime?” her sister asked.
“No, I mean he eats criminals,” Skuld said with a touch of disgust. “When you sit down and think about it, it’s actually really disturbing.”
Have I mentioned I love my delightfully dorky husband? ^_^ We frequently refer to our son as our little panda cub, so it goes on most of my mommy related posts.
2.
This works on several levels. I am a big fan of JRR Tolkien. Seeing this icon filled me with dorky glee. And I loathe WalMart, particularly the one nearest our house. I don't know who designed the parking lot there, but it clearly involved either animal sacrifice or the disinterrment of a native burial ground, because navigating in and out is a stone bitch, even when the store itself is semi-deserted. If they weren't the only local store that consistently has the right size miniblinds for our apartment, I wouldn't shop there at all. Thankfully that's become less important since we gave our cat to my mil.
3.
Seldom used. I think the first time was when someone on my friends' list declared it a no-pants day. ^_^ I like Torg, I used to like Sluggy Freelance, and the strip this comes from was hilarious. If it shows up, I'm in a really weird mood, or none of my other icons fit.
4.
Another Sluggy Freelance icon. ^_^ I adore Kiki. Her adorableness, her sweetness, her penchant for random destruction... Also, I cannot whistle. Never have been able to. (This went on the list of things Dav was determined to teach me, when we started dating, along with driving, swimming, riding a bike, and snapping my fingers. He's met with mixed success.) It's a good icon for when I'm feeling down and don't quite need to use the Akari-House icon. Maybe I should get back into Sluggy...
