This child is officially trying to drive Mommy crazy.

Got a call from Dr. B's nurse while feeding Mark his oatmeal. He wanted us to come in this afternoon at 3 pm, to see if the formula was helping. (Good thing my precognitive husband decided to take the truck this morning, even though I wasn't originally going anywhere today.)

Jack-Jack managed to gain six ounces overnight.

Same scale they used yesterday. I don't know where the little goof is hiding it, because he certainly seems the same size to me. And he's breastfeeding as normal, then only eating an ounce or so of formula at a time, then eating another ounce half an hour later. So not much extra food. He's trying to break mommy's brain, I swear.

Dr. B and I are very happy, and he wants us to come back Mon. afternoon, instead of tomorrow.

You do realize this will be SOP for the next eighteen years. :)

Yes, it's a little boy's job to break Mommy's brain regularly and often. I had three brothers. I know how it works, and I laugh when people try to tell me 'boys are easier!'. I just didn't think it'd start happening til he got a little older... ^_^;

Heh! ^_^ I will say this: formula supplementation is extremely good in helping put on weight. Skye is way, way huskier than Callan was at the same age.

Ok, that's disconcerting, because Mark was a little butterball when he was on exclusive breastmilk. ^_^;; In fact, his ped. genially accused me of feeding him butter at his two month checkup. Huskier than that... oh dear...

I hope my milk supply holds up; the immune boost and overall nutrient contemnt's way better than formula. But if not, well, I did my best, and at least he'll get as much milk as I can give.
