Prenatal visit after-action report

Just got home from my second prenatal appt. Should've gone, er, two weeks ago.... ::furtive look:: I lost track of time. Heck, I've lost track of just how many weeks along I am. Yes, I know. Bad mommy. Hey, I know when my due date is, and I feel fine, aside from the sort of minor pregnancy-related annoyances that health providers either tell you to suck up or prescribe OTC palliatives for. (Like the peeing every freaking hour during the night. >_< That didn't start til much much further along in my last pregnancy. Norcross said it's just one of those things that starts early when you've had more than one pregnancy. Sigh. Thank God Mark's sleeping through the nights now, or I'd really be a zombie.)

Blood pressure is fine. They went right for the manual cuff this time, so I only had to get it taken once. Weight... is the same as it was the night I checked in to the Delivery Ward for Marcus. >_<;; I have no idea where it all is. I am nowhere near as big in the hips or thighs yet as I was back then, and while my belly's bigger than it was during this point in my last pregnancy, it's not that much bigger. My overall health is fine. Baby's heartbeat is strong and at the right speed for this point in my pregnancy.

However, my uterus is measuring just a tad on the small side for this stage, so just as a precaution, and mostly as an excuse to order me an ultrasound, Captain Norcross sent me to Radiology to schedule said ultrasound. Their scheduler wasn't in, but they took my info and phone number and will get back to me.

I'm hoping it will show if I've got a boy or a girl on the way. :D Dav will have to come along to ride herd on the Zodling; the sheet of directions they gave me were very emphatic on that point. I can certainly see why. Heck, he was such a twerp when Norcross was checking the baby's heartbeat that Dav had to take him out in the hall, and so much worse when I was making the radiology appt. that he had to take Mark outside entirely.

Next regular prenatal appt. is in a month. Will let you guys know when we have an ultrasound appt.
