I had this really long, good entry about Spirited Away, and the election, and other things... and the damned modem loses connection on me in mid-type! Then the hard drive crashed and I had to reboot. Now the file's lost forever....

I'd bite furniture if I didn't think I'd scare the cat.

I do have a hardcopy of a partial version of the entry, but I was altering a lot of it as I typed it in, improving, expanding, dredging up memories of the movie that I'd forgotten when I wrote the hard copy...

Very infuriating. Next time I'll save it as a .txt file and copy it into my journal window, but right now.... I want to hurt something. Not permanently, just... mangle it a bit....

At extremely unpredictable and odd hours. ::sigh:: Most of my family has become addicted to AOL's online form of Bingo within recent weeks, and they hog the computer.

I'd stay on longer tonight and repost that lost entry from yesterday, but I'm really tired. Stayed up til four am trying to find a way to restore the original entry from the temporary files folder or something similar, and couldn't do it. Friday night I was up too late looking at webgalleries. I'm a highly fatigued kawaii dragon maiden right now. Also, I have work tomorrow night, so I need to be reasonably bouncy and alert for the customers.

Call me before four pm tomorrow if it's urgent. If it's only quasi-urgent, e-mail me, because I'm not sure if I'll log on tomorrow night or not.
