Running up the Plague Flag again

I love my husband and sons more than my own heart's blood.

But right now? I loathe my three adorable snuggly disease vectors. x_x

Tom had nasal death blarg so bad they sent him home from work before noon on Friday. The boys started showing symptoms yesterday. And now it's my turn.

I've taken cold meds, and I pray they kick in soon.

Mark's doing much better than yesterday, so much so that he'll probably go to school this afternoon. If he spikes another fever upon departure from the bus, I will cry.

I am firing today. And it isn't even nine am yet.

Mark's new ABA therapist was supposed to start today.

Mark bit Jack on the calf, for unfathomable reasons, fifteen minutes before the session was supposed to start. I spanked him and sent him to his room til she arrived.

Five minutes after she was due, I went looking for my cell phone, in case she called to say she was running late or something.

I discovered that yesterday, I brilliantly managed to lock my purse, along with my cell, my car keys, and my military spouse ID, in the car. Tom left for work with HIS car keys several hours ago, so there was no way to access them.

I just got an email from Sarah saying she called me at seven am today to explain she needs a base pass, and was now waiting at the visitor center for me.

I thought she already had a base pass, much like Sherry, the therapist who's now on maternity leave, did through her Army husband.

::rubs temples::

Today is SO damn fired.

I'll just go die quietly of embarassment in the corner now

Tom called me from the office via his personal cell phone, which he leaves at home.

Turns out my car keys were on the kitchen island, under some bags I'd left there after going shopping yesterday.

At least this means I can go fetch Mark if he once again spikes a fever of mysterious origins on the way to school.
